​Thank you to all of you that joined us for the amazing day of Golf, fellowship and fun at Foxfire Golf Course Monday June 10th.  What started off as maybe a rain-out, turned into a great, albeit windy day for sure.

The Golfers all had 18 holes of fun that included awards for Longest Drive, closest to the hole and on the Par 3 17th, there was a chance to win $10,000 with a hole in one.

Once the day of golf concluded, it was time for a little 19th hole socializing and then on to the Banquet itself.  The members we served a fantastic spread of yummy Italian food and many of the members walked away with some fantastic momentos from the silent auction.  The 50/50 raffle winner also walked away with a nice bonus! 

Dave Maetzold was AWESOME in his introduction to our 2019 Person the the Year, Jody Shelley. Dave highlighted Jody's career before introducing the man of the hour himself, Mr. Jody Shelley.

Jody was gracious and talked about his time on the ice as a true bruiser, and of course this past year's team and their success and explained how some replacements will most likely need to step up next year to fill some pretty big shoes.

We were honored to host such a generous man who has committed himself to Columbus and growing the sport of Hockey within it, and throughout the state of Ohio and beyond. 

We cannot finish without saying THANK YOU to Bob Redfield, Jeff Norris, Tom Sappington, John Buchenroth and the rest of the board that spent many hours pre-planning this event and who hosted the players and honoree so gracefully on Monday June 10th. 

Once again, Congratulations to the 2019 Agonis Person of the Year, Mr. Jody Shelley.
