Agonis Club Student "Athlete of the Week" and Yearly Scholarship Awards
The Agonis Club of Columbus gathers to celebrate Central Ohio’s brightest young athletes. A highlight of our weekly luncheons during Ohio State home game weeks is recognizing the “Student-Athletes of the Week.”
In partnership with The Columbus Dispatch sports writers, we honor high school students who demonstrate excellence, integrity, and perseverance in both athletics and academics. These recipients are celebrated by local coaches and community leaders as part of a tradition that has spanned over a century.
Our commitment to these future leaders is recognized annually the Agonis Club Scholarship Awards. Funded entirely by our members and donors, these scholarships provide essential financial assistance to deserving student-athletes as they transition to college.

Looking for a scholarship for college?
Are you going to be a senior in high school in the Central Ohio area this year? If so, we are proud to honor some of the top students in and around Central Ohio. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you will need to fill in the application and have it signed off by your guidance counselor and/or athletic director. Each spring we send all Central Ohio athletic directors the forms needed to be filled in. So, if you are interested in applying for this scholarship, please contact your athletic director.
